Actually the people buying the ingots actually decide the price.... You started your sale at 10gp per and chose to take an offer of 9gp. Prices start with the supplier but are always adjusted by what the buyer is willing to pay.

Not trying to grief your thread - I hope you can get what you want for them. This is just a hot button topic for me :) Best of luck.

I support this concept and would like to see further participation in expecting fairer pay for the miners of Britannia.
A beginning miner makes 1000 ingots an hour. (8k gold 8gp ea)
An adept miner makes 2000 ingots an hour. (16k gold 8gp ea)
A recall miner makes 3000 ingots an hour. (18k gold 8gp ea*)

To expect a measly 8k for one hard hour's work is awful, considering the players who rake in 80k an hour with dragon turrets and the millionaires with their houses filled to the brim with rares they've found from IDOCs. I don't even want to get into how terribly payed Blacksmiths are, to be successful you are required to sell just barely over ingot cost, meaning you mine your own iron, spend hours crafting your goods and managing a vendor, and then you are still left with nothing.

So I say yes, a 10gp an ingot standard would be a step in the right direction. If the fat cats of the shard don't want to pay it, they can go find their way to the nearest cave and hit some rocks THEIR SELVES.

*lowered for the cost of recalls and shovels
<Soma> He may be a pedophile, but he's a damn good smith
<Sheer_Luck> Yeah but all the hally handles smell funny.
