I never really have a problem sometimes u will die to a lvl 5 map if it has a 2 balron spawn. Just have someone at your house to gate to the T map spot if you die. Plus you can make this chr in a week and be ready for lvl 5 maps instead of lockpicking for the rest of your life. (I'm really not making up the rest of your life part about trying to GM lockpicking)
yeah while this works i am doing 90 percent or more of the work on the bard i can stealth dungeon pick on the character i can also use her also a house loot alt which typically involes multiple client depending on the break in. while my bard remains a normal farming character that i can just do maps on with other people more effectively and can farm with out being a easy kill from pk's. also if i wanted another tank mage i could easyily drop music provo for a weapon skill and tactics :P in a few hours i hate the provo bard if you get followed or tracked at a cluster or someone runs into you on this build you have 0 wrestling and 0 resist = easy easy kill to any intelligent player

I already have the GM lockpicking, took 3 weeks of a lot of solid play from 95-100 but I had fun doing it, slight carpal tunnel (not really, but if anything would do it, this would).

Squall, I like your ideas on T-mapping. That's really how I had it in mind instead of a provo cart/lockpicker, that way I could preserve the stealth on my Tmapper, which is just a damn fun skill and good for picking chests around dungeons. I'm thinking the wrestling would be helpful too + hiding/stealth. I don't think I would need any resist for this character because the PVMing would be done on my bard who enjoys this stuff and likes the fame.

Putting the loot into a bag within the chest, that does not reveal the looter? If not, brilliant, sounds like a win win.

I don't see a problem with dual clienting the hard treasure maps, I actually do it anyways since I usually keep a backup character ready to open gates/res/heal my characters who die due to Silver Serpents in the jungle type of issues.

I guess you only need 1 character to do Treasure Maps if you want to, I think my main idea here is to keep my Lockpicker (core skill after all), flexible for other roles, and I really don't want to have multiple characters with provocation, its boring. I'd rather keep my lockpicker a stealther to some degree, and since I usually really on other characters to gate when I sneak around dungeons, I could afford to drop meditation on this build since it's almost entirely stealth.

i loot on the bard not the stealther because it revels before the i start digging i cast invis on my bard - tab - dig - hit invis item as soon as chest comes up (on the picker ) - hit stealth -hit a hotkey i made to play a macro to pick last target- tab - drag bars out on the bard - do initial spawn - tab - stealth away from chest - tab- telekinus the box - start looting on the bard - as stuff pops up you move it about a half a screen away once you got two mobs or 1 left over from the initial spawn- you just sit at the chest forcing the spawn by draging a item every 1 second and provoking the second it pops up i have target nearest grey and next target hotkeys for this and i keep bars out as well a typical i like to eliminate any clicking from uo any time it's possible.

Meditation i would keep sometimes i just don't want to dedicate 1/3 clients to that(gating to chest) depending what my other two are doing. it also comes in handy like you can use this character as a gate bot for your other two accounts. Or the character is great for house break in's if you manage to get pass a poorly setup barrier of tables etc. i typically cast recall - invis item and recall into dangerous spots and hit stealth on the stealth picker. as i have tons of invis items i don't care about blowing them sometimes for 1 high charge invis item you get back more invis charges doing the chest then you used.

Thanks for that break down,

So what was that thing about putting loot into a pouch, do you do that within the chest? Or just into your inventory to keep loot organized. I thought you were saying you could put all the loot into the pouch (without spawning) then move that pouch around every second to spawn them.

Good idea about keeping meditation to use the character as a gate bot, I do love having gate bots.

as you drag items things spawn you want to force the spawn on higher level maps as good magics and other maps drop off them. you can only drag 1 item per second, i leave the bag pouch backpack etc whatever you fancy in the chest and i quickly hold shift + drag the item into the bag as fast as i can go to force the chest out once the bag is filled with all the loot i drag it around til all the spawn comes out sometimes the last 1 takes awhile don't want to miss a balron or something spawning or ogre lord etc and not get the loot from it.

I totally see your point and I always have another chr logged in at my house incase someone stumbles into the T map location or I die. But if you just want one character for T mapping and you don't want to lockpick for 3 weeks straight you can just use that build.

On another note I love the bag inside the chest idea only bad thing I could see for that is if someone comes up on you near the end of the map and grabs it real quick when you are running around, but the odds of that happening are few and far between.

well thats the easy way to force spawn their is 1 other way to deal with this in case you are worried about someone taking the bag that i wont share =\ can't let all the tricks out of the bag :)
