Thanks dudes!

After the Sept 30 patch on housing 5 spots opened upin the garden. I snagged em all and paged Derrick immediately to see if they would be removed. He said they would likely have to be removed, that I should stop deco'ing them and that he'd get back to me about it.
A short while later, he PM'd me saying he had made the garden a no housing zone and asked me to deed the houses - but said that I could keep ONE. So no, you can't place houses in Wind, but yes, there is one there.

OSI was filled with bugged houses 'placed improperly' - if you snagged something like this on OSI you kept it if you looked after it - eg the Despise house or small behind Vesper bank alchemist.

Just set up this new tower in a couple days, making the rune books was a pain.

This isn't a house on UOSA, but it's something I made in UO using GM powers one time. I found the screenshots on my computer. I haven't seen this in forever!

Introducing my Fountain Keep:

Obviously, the waterfalls on the S and E walls are waterfall tiles. There are no animated water tiles facing N and W, so the "water" falling over the N and W walls are partial blood tiles with a blue hue. The bulk of the "water" that covers the keep is also blood tiles, lifted up and hued blue. The jets of water at the very top of the keep are flamestrike animations hued ice white. If you look closely, there's fish, plants and other objects in the water. Next to the large rock on the ground floor are 2 stools for sitting.

The whole thing is animated. The pics don't capture the awesomeness of the fountain. I had a blast making this. It's probably my favorite thing I've ever created in UO. I wish I could still get into where it is and walk around. :(

Atraxi wrote:I've added things to the decor in my keep since I posted those screenshots a few pages back. Here's some more current pics. I present to you, The Fortress of the Golden Pyramids, home of [Atx]. Enjoy!

Here's the ground floor. Going clockwise starting on the right side, we have the Main Stable, the Vault, the Loot Room, and the back room is like a closet, just random, unsorted crap. In the middle room, we have the TWFH (Table Wall from Hell), and my Armory.
Image

The second floor sports my craft room in the middle, which includes my sheep farm and training stable. Along the front of the keep, you can see my balcony which stretches out over the front steps. Due to the lack of railing, you have to watch your step, because you can fall off the side of the building here.

And finally, we have the roof of my keep. This is where the Fortress gets her name.

(And before anyone says it, NO, I won't tell you where it is so you can come kill my sheepies.)

It's in the jungle. lol

I took some of the good ideas I saw on this thread to decorate the main room of my castle.

And that's what you're going to get, Lad, the strongest castle in all of England.

I would like to share some of my deco for the C^V Library and Botanical Garden. It is important that I thank Lightshade, Pirul, and Jenn for their willingness to allow me to display their rares. Also, thank you Cattie for the tutorial on how to build the trees. Enjoy!
