I am currently having difficulty trying to work a dexer/med template. I figure while I go about asking my question, I would also see if you could create a forum specifically for Template talk? Any rate..

I want Mage/Med/Parry/Poison/Arch to be in my template... those a "needed" skills. It doesn't have to be the perfect 7xGM, if I can have those skills and it worked out that I was able to have say 10 skills I would do it. My problem is at what skill level should I stop certain skills? The melee skill could be fence or swords... up to you. HELP!

This character you want isn't going to function well in either PVP or PVM. You need to narrow it down slightly. I'd suggest dropping parry or archery, then you may stand a chance to building a valid character

I love seeing how people are putting poisoning on their pvp template now, so much for a crafting skill. I'll take 1/2 credit for this.

But yes that would be difficult to work out, I agree w/ roadkill. if you're going poisoning, don't bother with archery. un-complimentary.

Poisoning on a townie has always been a great combo (or even on a standard warrior template), all you need is a simple razor macro and a bunch of poison pots in your inventory and you're golden.

I'd suggest..

Fencing, Tactics, Anatomy, Healing, Magery, Poisoning, X.

X could be parrying, hiding, resist, meditation, or some other handy skill

You could TRY doing this..

100 fencing, tactics, anatomy, healing
90 Parry
80 Magery
80 Poisoning
50 Meditation

The more you step away from a 7x character, the better you need to be at UO, it's not unheard of and I've had many non-traditional, non-7x characters, but they are less useful in more situations (ie you need to decide where you plan on using the character. The template I listed above would work well in town, but outta town you're a deadman with 0 resist and 0 hiding)
