Template Completion
Template Completion
I've nearly completed my Prov Mage.
Magery 100
EvalInt 100
Med 100
Musicianship 100
Provocation 100
Hiding 100
I'm having issues deciding what my 7th skill should be. It's a toss up between Wrestling and Resist at the moment. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I would go with resists but thats just me

Re: Template Completion
Wrestling...will help you get off spells (teleport/recall) when in tight spots.

Re: Template Completion
I was tempted to go this route but Hiding has been a god send in some situations so I'm reluctant. Wrestling sounds more of a benefit than resist in my situations I guess.LudKrud wrote:Id drop hiding and go wrestling and resist.....
Thanks for the comments.

Re: Template Completion
Hear Hear!, this is what i went with also, i am heavily relient on invis charges, and casting invis in heavily camped places, after much farming you should be stocked with lots of invis items ^_^.LudKrud wrote:Id drop hiding and go wrestling and resist.....
Re: Template Completion
Good point. Think I'll get my wrestling up to 100 and then drop hiding for resist. Thx.
Re: Template Completion
I'd say screw resist and just get wrestling. You don't want to be taking lots of magic drops on a bard, so resist is kind of pointless. If you see reds, start running and equip invis item /recall.
Hiding is very useful (probably more useful than resist for an intelligent bard) and only PKs with tracking will be able to find you.

Re: Template Completion
I'd go with wrestling. Keep reflect up, use tele+hide or flat out recall if trouble comes your way. No reason to try and PVP on a character clearly made for PVM.

Re: Template Completion
I like having wrestling and resist on my bard, makes him like a cockroach.
I just cast invis a lot, lord knows a good bard can afford the regeants and hiding is kind of crappy around enemies anyways.
I usually invis after I put up an EV and just keep my hand on the recall button until its time to kill shot and loot.
