Buying Keep or Castle

HMF has acquired funding to get our first event house opened up, so we are looking for a keep or castle preferably with other houses around it (its ok if you don't own them or want to sell them right now). Other secluded keeps or castle may be taken into consideration for the right price but we hope to buy this house and others surrounding it in the future for a great event and guild town and moving a event house such as ours is a pain to say the least. With that said if you have a keep or castle you are willing to split ways with that will shortly become an event for the server please post here or PM me with price, and pic (if you can't get a pic for whatever reason please let me know where we can meet so I can see the house before any agreements are made). Thanks all and we hope to get this done quickly to begin renovations for our first event at HMF.

What happened is LAck wanted something he did not have the funding for, and robbbbbb did not want to loan him 1.6mil for the keep Lack wanted.

It has NOTHING to do with the amount of funding...I told 'rand' that I would purchase the Keep for Lack at a price of 1.6mill, which is obviously way too high for pretty much any Keep, if he would agree to transfer 2 of the 7 smalls that were next to the keep upfront instead of later when Lack could afford them as he had already promised.

I told rand that Lack would still pay him for those 2 extra smalls, but they just need them upfront for their guild. I didnt think it was a big deal as he was charging about 400-600k more than the Keep is actually worth. He then asked me if Lack was buying the property or if I was and was basically telling me to shut up and purchase it for Lack or don't.

As I feel that rand is taking advantage of a new player I will not purchase this property from him AND will not purchase ANYTHING from him EVER. He is a complete DICK and deserves to be shunned by all!

Bottom line is: You are trying to take advantage of new players and have no respect for anyone in game.

Any normal person would say ok to letting go of 2 smalls upfront if they are going to get paid on them in a month or two later anyways...especially when they are screwing the customer for 400-600k...

Ya Robbbb is right i will never play 1.6 mil for a keep to be honest. A keep in swamp goes for about 709k total and a keep on grass can go for about 900k too a mil depends on where the location is. that's my input in this conversation

Whether or not it's outrageous, for the record last year I bought a keep for 1.4, lived in it for like six months then sold it for 1.5. If it's a nice enough location, you can can get a lot.

I sold the keep in question to Rand for 1.5 million gold. It is on the tip of a peninsula and he owns the land surrounding it. 1.5-1.6 is a fair price for it in my opinion. From what I understand Rand was willing to give the land around the keep at a later date for only a small deed above cost.

And for the record Lack never mentioned he did not have the funding for the Keep and had me and Rand wait around for an hour thinking this was a done deal.

TL:DR The Bank of Britain Denied the Loan Request due to a failed appraisal of the property.

On the plus side Lack is free to raise the money himself and purchase the keep when he is ready.

Ya i dont think that the whole deal is unfair as according to Lack he was giving them all 7 surrounding smalls for cost...the problem is that when the person actually paying for the property asks a small favor, that has zero financial loss to you, you don't call that person out and be a complete ass about the situation and I quote...:

I am confused. Am i selling the keep and smalls to you or Lack becuase i thought it was Lack, but here you are trying to make his deal for him. To me it sounds like you dont want to loan him the money, if thats the case then just be forward about it.
