Deciding to join this shard

hello. My buddy and I are thinking about joining this shard. We played long ago. I was wondering if anybody could give us a hand in building our characters...meaning if we could get a full spellbook..some gold to macro magery ..etc. we have lots of friends with gold on divinity because its such an old established shard, but we would rather play here , but we have no real way of starting out. Any help is appreciated.

There is a new player guild that is recruiting. Don't expect the handouts you asked for, but from my understanding they will help you start out. Go on the IRC chat and ask.

People offer aid here, but not handouts (or minimum hand outs) - I will start filling a spellbook while I hunt and I can offer that to you, along with a safe place to macro, and knowledge of some secluded "newbie hunting areas" which yield enough gold to get you on your feet (PM me though, because I think it would be foolish to give these spots over to the big bad peekays )
