Question regarding Web Page Player Online Status

Post by GzA »

If my characters are not showing up under the listing for players online, does that mean they got disconnected somehow?

I've never checked the page while I was at work, and macroing at the same time... well at least I thought I was.

Please advise and thanks!

That would be why it says "Players Online"...

I understand the meaning of "players online".

I just asked a ? that took 10 seconds to confirm that it's accurate. Plus, it also had player status: private. I wondered if that had anything to do with players showing up or not.

It was a simple question, thanks for answering guys.

The other day I was macroing blacksmith and I looked online and it did not show my character was online but through out the day I checked and I was still gaining blacksmithy
I think its sort of bugged right now... leave your character with public stats so you can check on your characters progress by typing "[publicchar" in game.

there is a lag-delay between the last "update" in which the webpage refreshes itself. i believe it refreshes the current information every 30 minutes or so

This is accurate. It's not constantly updated, but frequently. Public and Private chars both do show up on the list.

Thanks for all of the clarification.

Is there a list of command features in game? For like tells? etc.? I thought I remember one but I since then have forgot it.

[helpinfo
Will list all player commands that are available. There aren't any tells in the game, we do have an IRC channel though, info on main website in right sidebar, with a java client also.

It's on an independent timer. It's a fixed time, but i'm not sure on the frequency, 30 mins is probably correct but only by chance is correspondant to our save frequency.
