Couple of newbie questions

Post by Grimnir »

Hey all,

Been a great week on this shard. Couple of questions though.

1. Can you still gain resist in town? Saw on the forums you can't, but seen people macroing it and recieving damage.

2. Is Yew an active town? Haven't seen much activity.

I was a Yew guy on GL. Guild was based out of there. Did a lot of RP stuff too. So just wondering if the Yew scene is active.

Thanks!

No, you cannot gain resist in town. They still take a little damage (1 HP per spell) in town, but not enough to gain.

Yew is active vendor wise. You will hardly see people hanging around and talking at the bank and such. I think since it's where there's a large concentration of vendors, that most people don't hang out as they don't want to be stolen from.

I see. Thanks for the response :)

Yeah. I was pretty active in the RP scene from 97-2001.

Kazola's, ToM, all that stuff.

Killed the Lum the Mad once. But he deserved it haha.

Enjoying the shard, and the paranoia of seeing you have left the protection of the guards.

Yeah lots of traffic at Yew vendors, mostly around the bank and almost as much around the moongate, but you will just pass people, no one just hangs out unless its on the roof.
