If so, how much? I'm playing a standard mage build + provocation & musicianship, and I'm trying to justify creating a tailor character and leveling it up. Any benefit whatsoever, besides the initial potential for income to start?
Thanks!
Does GM-made clothing provide better AR than normal clothes?
Re: Does GM-made clothing provide better AR than normal clot
1.- Don't think so
2.- Plenty of GM tailors out there, no need to make one yourself, GM clothing is waaaay cheap

Thanks for the hasty reply.Pirul wrote:1.- Don't think so

Well what's the benefit of GM clothing if it doesn't provide better AR? Just an aesthetic thing with the 'exceptional' title when you click on it?
Or can they make cool, otherwise-inaccessible colors or something?
Re: Does GM-made clothing provide better AR than normal clot
No, people GM tailors for leather armor, and because they can make a profit. Not because of GM clothes. Otherwise, yes only to put their names on the clothes they wear.

Of course---I'm an idiot. Got so caught up thinking about all the sashes and tunics I wasn't going to make that I totally forgot about leather. Thanks!Pirul wrote:No, people GM tailors for leather armor, and because they can make a profit. Not because of GM clothes. Otherwise, yes only to put their names on the clothes they wear.
By the way, is GM tailoring the way to go about making ranger and other colored leathers, or are those "found", special items?

No you can't make ranger armor or other coloured leathers. I don't think they can be found either, they are rewards.Campbell wrote:Of course---I'm an idiot. Got so caught up thinking about all the sashes and tunics I wasn't going to make that I totally forgot about leather. Thanks!

I heard there was a small benefit of GM made clothing, like 1/4 AR, perhaps it was 25% extra.
