tinker traps

Post by rocksinhead »

any plans on making it so you can make traps that dont give counts? archive of stratics says if you are in your own house and trap the chest while it's on the floor it wont give a count. also was the deadly poisoned tinker traps really so easy to cure with arch cure?

Weren't they Lvl 4 or something like that? I know that GM Poison traps were pretty brutal. They were good for cheap laughs because you could watch the guy panic helplessly because the fact was, he was gonna die... it just took longer.

The explosion traps took like 120 hps... i don't remember where I saw that number but it was set up so even if you had the trap at a differnt z axis and potted up to 110 HPs... you were gonna donate your loot upon opening.

I seem to remember people being able to live through GM explosion traps with the highest level str potion. I used to "Fish for Dumbasses" using a GM explosion box weighed down with a ton of crap plate armor so you couldn't move with it. And once in a very blue moon someone would survive with 0 hp.

When I first came to the shard I spoke to some staff member and I remember something about that the 'make my day' loophole for tinker traps was going to be written in. It certainly was T2A.... fo sho.
