So, I contacted Casey and he accepted my bid on the house, I gave him the gold before our trip out and would transfer the deed once there. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by some brand new neighbors who demanded that Wind sell the house to them. "No" was the short answer, and we proceeded to continue the transaction. Just as the deed passed to Wind's his hands, the neighbors opened fire. I didn't make it, but Wind was able to get away. We met back at the house and after a rez he told me that he couldn't in good conscious sell me the place, especially since I have just gotten back into UO after a *counts fingers & toes* 12 year break.

Once back in the safety of town, Wind gave me back my gold and the deed, and promised to be on the lookout for a place to set my house down, free of charge.

He was good to his word, and this evening he hit me up in IRC and led me to an awesome spot. He marked the rune for me, and even threw in some shipwreck chests & paintings.

I have met some really great people the past few weeks, and Casey/Windspirit is one of the best.
