Houses and Co-Owners

Is it possible to get a char co-owned to a house that is on the same account as him?

Like account One has player A and B. B owns a house is there anyway to get A as a co-owner?

Characters on the same account are automatically given co-owner status unless they own a house themselves, in which case they will only be treated as 'friend' (a house owner cannot be a co-owner).
