He makes a good point. I don't want to be at the top of the karma tree in here. There are an unspeakable amount of people that make way more contribution to these forums than I do. But, I hope that that will eventually be reflected naturally eventually. I've posted more on the forums this week than I have in the previous 6 months.

I'm not really entirely confident on the viability of this reputation system, as often it is opinions represented here on the forums, whether it is about PvP, prices or anything else, and in the case of opinions...well, everyone has their own. However, not everyone really understands other people are entitled to their point of view (especially if they bother to present some arguments to back them up, though not needed). So I'd hate to see negative karma given for someone just not thinking the same way as you do.

For being some kind of a feedback system for trades, however, this'd be great. We'd avoid the need to document feedback on individual trade threads and save the players the trouble of linking past threads as references.

I wouldn't mind being negged for differing opinion, it's the other end of repping someone you agree with. It's being negged for posting nothing but plain fact in answer to a question, with no opinion included at all, that I can't figure out the point of. It's happened to me already.
