It's hard to tell for sure, but I am fairly sure these are the same ones that Bull (everlynn/Illmarin/Luna Spell) sold not too long ago. He did a good job covering his tracks, as hes edited out most of the info from that sales-thread..

So.. anyone who knows/remembers who he sold the green pair to, there's your culprit. I'd bet on it, but I've been known to be wrong before ;/

Who are you, Telamon, to be throwing around these acquisitions and giving people ultimatums on forums? You seem to be quite wealthy yourself for only being on the shard for 16-17 months? You may not have been around long enough to remember the generous people only UOSA who have given away their neon masks/sandals to complete newbs, let alone someone get sandals from a friend they play another shard with. If I quit sometime down the line and give away my masks, are you guys going to be crying about it being sold for IRL $? Get real......

So either the items were sold for RL $$ or they were sold for IPY items/gold.

As for ultimatums, the only neon sandals worth 20 mil+ are the unique super desirable ones. Pink/Purple ones. There are easily 15-20 green pairs similar to this floating around the server.

Funny you talk shit about me being here 16-17 months, but don't question the week old forum account of someone that magically has neons.

If the seller wants to come out and tell us where they came from then we can stop guessing, but otherwise we are free to come up with any story we want.

I wouldn't question the forum account if I didn't know the guy in-game and personally IRL. Considering we were playing together when you first started this shard *pause* I don't question his tenure on UOSA. To be quite honest, no one really cares what the sandals are worth to you, considering he's already received bids for well more than what you're offering (showing your lack of control on prices that you felt you had). If you're not meeting minimum bid then you should just mind your business. I've seen you overprice things constantly and never made a forum attack on you. You coming at a guildmate, friend, and overall generous guy is just envy and lack of class. The guy set a price for sandals and you trampled all over his post, I CAN'T wait to catch some of your posts on the forum from now on. And as far as you dwindling it down to either RL $ or money from IPY, did you ever think someone just gave them to him? I know that's what I would be doing if I didn't plan on playing here anymore.........

I could not find out for the life of me who Everlynn sold his greens to. I tried for a while, so i suspected he claimed sale, but didn't actually sell them. But he had the money, so i'm fairly sure they did sell, just no idea to whom.

Wonder how much rl $$ was spent to buy these sandals. Seems the most common reason items like this come up for sale with questionable history was that someone bought them via . . non standard means . . and is selling them for gold because it's easier to buy sandals on the black market and turn them into gold than find someone selling gold.

I only mention this because I have bought a few items like this (with gold) and the sellers told me exactly how they obtained them, who they obtained them from and for how many dollars. If I had to guess someone probably paid 100-150$ for these.

One would think that someone who greatly supports UOSA and subscribes to this shard would take this newly found information of people buying and selling server items for RL cash and report it directly to Derrick instead of supporting them by purchasing the items they paid RL cash for with your 'hard-earned' gold.

That makes you no better than them, and if anything would put you in their boat since you're actively supporting them and not reporting it.

I do not support cash for gold or the reverse, but I had to respond to this one statement. My accounts are just over 50 days old and I have already pulled over 2mil + have GM'd everything to maintain self dependency--alchemy, blacksmith, etc ((Carto/fishing almost done)) and have fully capped chars such as Mage/tank, bard, thief/LP, PvP Melee, and almost finished with my Mage/Tamer (Drake). And I work Fulltime, married w/2 kids. 16-17mo is PLENTY of time to pull well over 100 mil. It's easy. This reason alone, is not valid enough to make accusations.

To add, if this thread is the case, anyone who wastes real money to try to so called get ahead on FREE UO--well it's laughable and I feel sorry for you--in many, many--many ways.
