GM mage title
Do certain titles overrule others? I am a GM scholar and should GM magery tonight, and would like my title to be GM mage. Is there a way to make this happen? I read that the first skill you GM is what takes precedence.
Re: GM mage title
Im pretty sure its alphabetical.
Re: GM mage title
Nah it's alphabetical I think.
So EvalInt would be top of the mage-related skills list. Hence Scholar.

Re: GM mage title
you can choose whichever title you want by locking those that you dont want, and leaving the one you want on up.
eg, if you have mage and eval at GM with both pointing up, lock eval and you will now have the title "grandmaster mage"

It's not quite alphabetical, I think because some skill names were changed and others were added. There's a table showing the order they come up in here - http://wiki.uosecondage.com/Skills
Re: GM mage title
In other words, once you have several GM skills lock them and leave open only the skill that you want the title to be from. For Grandmaster Mage, lock everything except Magery and keep that skill up (available to raise).nightshark wrote:you can choose whichever title you want by locking those that you dont want, and leaving the one you want on up.

Aye, this is the default order, and the skill locks will override it.Jill Stihl wrote:It's not quite alphabetical, I think because some skill names were changed and others were added. There's a table showing the order they come up in here - http://wiki.uosecondage.com/Skills

Re: GM mage title
....the reason being that they're alphabetical by "TrueName." Most are pretty close; the TrueName of Evaluating Intelligence is EvalInt, Swordsmanship is Swords, etc. But a few are way different than you might think; Resisting Spells has a TrueName of MagicResist, so that comes a lot earlier in the list than you might expect.
