anvil

Post by smokybarnable »

So back in 99 I wandered into the The Lords Arms blacksmith shop in Britain on Great lakes and somehow managed to pick up the anvil and put it in my backpack. It weighed so much I couldn't move so like a moron I paged a GM. He asked me how it got there, I replied I had no idea. I always wondered how that happened and if anyone might have an answer?

Staff just didn't lock it down during another redecoration (i.e. didn't run specific command on this item)

Depends. Somebody could find these unlocked anvils/forges just like you and drag-drop it to their boat; some people had irl friends working at origin staff - they could oblige.

There used to be portable anvils on GL.A few people even had one locked down on their boats.

There was a bug for awhile that let you place house add ons onto a boat. It was fixed in the Jan 19 1999 patch. http://wiki.uosecondage.com/1999_Patch_Notes

Ah yes, you could place addons on a boat that was nearby a house you stood in, right? I vaguely remember something like this.
