When a tillerman dies...
In my travels across the great lands of our world I came upon a ship who's tillerman told me that his ship was in danger of collapsing. Having never witnessed a ship decay before, and having nothing better to do, I decided to "watch" this ship to see what happened. After a couple hours of standing and watching (okay really I was watching a movie and glancing at the screen every so often), I saw it! The ship crumbled and fell into the sea. I was not quick enough to capture the scene (there is actually an animation where she ship looks like it has fallen apart and eventually disappears), however I managed to scribble down in my journal the tillerman's dying words. I present them to you, dear reader. Please, a moment of silence for our fallen brother.

Yeah I was thinking that too.

Been there done that
And nightshark: no. Tillermen are apparently very stupid. The boat in the screenshots above was named 'the Valentine II'.

awesome, I enjoyed the Sanford quote there
<@Populus> You're an associate, associates don't feel bad.
<@Populus> What you are feeling is the butthurt of your victim flowing through your body.

Thank you chainsoar! Guess my description of the animation was wrong. Doesn't fall apart, just sinks. I only caught a glimpse of it before it was gone.

Yea, Idoc boats just don't have the same draw for some reason What could be missing? heheh
Too bad there isn't a cool "tower falling into the ground" animation; or better yet: castle sinking into the swamp

Most people like us, or at least they like what we do. Regardless, we appreciate all our victims, and we hope that their encounter with us is a memorable one.

Played UO on and off since 1998. Never seen that. I love this game so much.
