I love UOSA

Post by EVeee »

I've posted a lot about era accuracy issues lately and lightweight griping, so I thought I should voice my support just as loudly. All minor issues aside, this is still my favorite online game of all time and UOSA is the only shard I've found that tries to stick to a good set of rules and be honest to the era. It's a pleasure to play here, amazing that it's offered to everyone for free, and I thank Derrick and everyone else involved profusely for their time and effort. Even though the little icon next to my name doesn't reflect it, I just became a recurring monthly subscriber to help keep UOSA going + I can't encourage everyone enough to do the same. Five dollars a month is nothing; if you can afford to have an internet connection, you can afford to support this awesome shard. Go and help out!

Welcome brotha. I 've played on many servers and ended up landing here. This is the only one where i've followed the "rules" to not get banned :P It's because i've either got extremely bored with the server and started doing elligal shit, or because the staff on the server is corrupt and as i said before, i started doing elligal shit. Enjoy your time here. Don't join the trolls.

*BUMP*

If you love uosecondage (chances are you do if you're here; if you're new, you'll love it soon) then support it by donating - http://www.uosecondage.com/Donate

We've all had various employers tell us 'Good job!' or 'Thank you!', which almost always isn't worth the oxygen they used to form the words. If they really meant it, they'd say it with a raise. It's no different here - if you play the game all week and you claim to be a big fan then mean it; you can make a one-time donation or subscribe by setting up a monthly draft of as little as five dollars. That's kid change - babysitters charge $10 an hour where I live, for chrissake. Maybe I should be petitioning the babysitters for donations, in fact.....

I don't know if your like looking for free handouts or something, it won't happen here. This is some of the most dedicated staff you will ever come across. I've never seen any sign of corruption here, which is an important factor in a server succeeding. There are plenty of guilds that will help you get going though. Look for the guild S3X, bunch of great guys, very active, very helpful and the Guildmaster (which is Apoc in forums) is a extremely helpful person in getting someone on there feet and does not expect a thing back in return.

Obviously you don't understand what I wrote - I'm trying to get players to donate real money to UOSecondage via their website in order to keep this server running. No one asked me to write this thread and I don't get anything out of it. And even though it has nothing to do with this discussion, I don't need hand-outs in-game, thanks. :)

That's writing the way it's said; there's a word for that but I don't remember what it is. I've only heard one person clearly and correctly pronounce 'Christ's sake' in my life.

How did you get "looking for a free handout" out of that?
