After some research on this item and speaking to Derrick, It is not illegal to own. It is a decaying item but this one is grandfathered, just like the one in the museum. I did the quest along with a friend and we both got one and both locked it down in our houses and the next day they were gone. Derrick told me that it is not illegal to own and you can ask him to confirm. It is truely a rare and is the only one that exists outside the museum, as far as I know.

Bidding starts at 500k and I will let this run for a few days.

Whoever wins this item: a broker will be used and also a small house will be added to the price. We will place the small house lock the map down inside of it, I will then transfer the house to the broker and we will let it sit untouched for 72 hours. Preferred brokers will be Jacko, Eo, or Telamon if he has time to do so.
