I want to recommend getting a book from the prov dealer fill that in and just leave it on the doorstep of the house in question. I've found that to work. Of course someone random can come buy and take it but so far I've not had that happen.

Thanks to both for the tips. I've checked with [Uhh] and they don't own it anymore; sign must have never been changed.
