Whats the best way to make money?

Just joined not to long ago and I couldn't really play much till I found out what was making it crash randomly.

So I was wondering what skill was best to make some cash to start on?

Get a part-time job and buy gold from me.

Second best way?

Make a tamer.

Third Best Way?

Make a bard/Miner or other resource gatherer and play the market.

Fourth Best way and have fun while doing it?

This way, depending on how fast you learn, can also teach u l337 skillz while getting gold (in a slight risk of losing it, but hey thats what makes it fun)

McDonalds will give you an assistant manager position if you display high pvp skillz.

A tamer? As in sell to npc or vendor? I don't have enough money for buying a house to vendor it to players.
I'll make a char for that then I heard lockpicks were 1 ingot and 10 gold. Seems good enuf to me.

Not a joke. And I have no idea what the rest of your response means...

Tamer = "All Kill" here's 700 gold and nice items. Rinse Repeat every 10 seconds...you get the picture.

Make a parry melee of some type, go out and hunt in dungeons. This not only helps with player interaction, but can also make for some fun Dexer fights. The PK idea works for this too, but please keep in mind that people come here to have fun and not get griefed. Just because you are able to defeat someone, does not mean you have to be a dick about it.

And oh yes, now that I think on it more and more... it takes a hell of a lot more skill to play a pure dexer than anything else in this game. Yes it's point and click, but the survivability factor compared to a mage is the challenging part.

If you can out-duel people on a parry melee of some type, I guarantee you it will give you a name for greater than Hemperor

Taming is definitely not the best idea to START with.

Just make a melee char, or macro up a provoking bard. When you're settled finally, then I'd make a tamer if you desire.

Make a newbie with 50 magery, 49 resist, 1 music. Buy a bunch of instruments. Macro provocation and music till 100 (see Guides section of the forums for details)


While that is going on, make another newbie with 50 melee, 50 healing. Go to Britain Sewers and farm, in 10-15 minutes you should have 1.5-2.5k, buy a horse and run to Moonglow, Skara, Yew, to collect Wool, Cotton, and Flax. Spin & Loom to get cloth, cut to get bandages.

Continue doing Brit sewer runs till you can afford to train to a 700 skill cap, then get 100 str/dex (lock all skills, point herding up, macro on an animal till 100str/dex)

You're now ready to begin serious training. Either spar a friend/another acct (slow way) or fight brigands and other fairly easy monsters found throughout the overworld (ie.. don't go to dungeons or hot spots, just roam the map and you'll do fine)

In 2 days you should have a nice dexer and a ready-to-farm Bard

Why waste the gold on the stat cap thing, just start a char macro herding till 60 skill and boom 100str, same with snooping, int is a bit harder since i was able to GM ss and macro it for a few days and not get 100int. =\

Why not just play the game That's the most fun part about it...but for good money maker, I'd start with a Provoker/Warrior, then once you hit about 70% in music and provoke hit despise or something, you can make about 15k/hour at the risk of getting PK'd.

Depends how much time you have to play, how committed you are and how quick you want it really..if you got the time, tamer is the way
