A couple skill templates... Can I get advice? tamer & warr

I'm new to the server and last I played UO was in 2001... this is my first post so go easy on me

My memory is good but I cant remember everything so here we go. I'd like to make 4 toons but I'll ask for ideas on more templates later on. These 2 will get me started and hopefully get some cash coming in.

First is Bard/Tamer:

100 str
25 dex
100 int

-Animal Lore
-Taming
-Vet
-Magery
-Music
-Provo

What should I put in as last skill? Resist? Meditation? Hiding? Am I missing something?


Second: Warrior

100 str
100 dex
25 int

-Anatomy
-Swordmanship
-Parry
-tactics
-healing
-resist

Again, what should I put in last? am I missing something? I'll start him with 50 magery just to recall but... any other ideas?


The other 2 I'd like to make are fisherman and a pvp mage. (for those who are curious)

Meditation for sure, you'll be gating around your pets.

Second: Warrior

-Swordmanship
-Parry
-tactics
-healing
-resist

Magery at 60 and Poisoning at 40 could work, or you could go for 100 Magery, or you could do hiding. It's really about playstyle. Parrying may not be as useful as you remember it, but it's easy enough to GM, test, and then decide for yourself

parry is pretty slick pvm, can get lots of high end magic shields easy here
id put magery on your warrior for sure
