Runebooks will not be blessed
We've had multiple threads that pop up from time to time asking for runebooks to be blessed. No one ever seems to check for other threads and just bumping those when they want to discuss the status of runebook loot types.
So, here's the status. Runebooks are not blessed. Runebooks will never become blessed. This shard is a t2a era ruleset shard. Runebooks weren't blessed in t2a. They aren't blessed here. That's all there is to it.
Thank you.

Re: Runebooks will not be blessed
How I wish I saw this post yesterday. Little ol' Yoink got my runebook, but it had 9 charges and 2 runes in it. Brit and Minoc.

Re: Runebooks will not be blessed
strange, i dont remember runebooks even existing in t2a
Re: Runebooks will not be blessed
They were added in early 2000 just prior to the great britainia cleanup for the purpose of reducing item count on the shards

Wish I would of saw this post before buying a runebook!
Still don't quite understand what the harm would be in blessing them. All it means is we don't have to keep buying runes and don't have to make a stop at a rune library between recalls.

Re: Runebooks will not be blessed
true but if UO was as easy as some servers make it out to be it wouldn't be a challenge..

Re: Runebooks will not be blessed
t2a era had a bug where you would open your bank box with the runebook in it, use your runebook, and it would stay open on your screen and useable no matter if you closed your bank.
<IronfistMax> tell me where you are in game, and ill come thank you personally

I was not aware this was an era bug. We actually had this bug in the early days of the shard and it was removed. If any refrences on the web can be found that this bug was active during the era we can talk about putting it back in.
