I've been working a Provo / T-Hunter and notice Fame/Karma gains seem odd.
Do you get Fame/Karma for Provo kills or do you need to cast a killshot? It seems sometime i get gains from provo kills and at other times I dont. (This is referring to monsters that should always give a gain at my current level)
Can going through a gate and returning while monsters are still fighting have any effect on the fame/karma gain (or lack there of)?
Thanks

Re: Barding and Noto.
annoyingly you have to give the death shot, your getting lucky and the monster is dying from poison when your gaining karma/fame.
barding doesn't give the fame/karma only the death shot.

I also noticed you do not get fame/karma from a magic reflect. I put reflect on to ebolt a red-lined LL and he killed himself with his own flamestrike... No fame for me! =(
Im assuming this is also era-accurate?
Thanks for the help!
Re: Barding and Noto.
ya need to "steal " the fame. its era accurate as people used to ninja the fame from other players and set in motion angry dungeon pvp.
Re: Barding and Noto.
I remember that for sure! I just dont remember how the rule-set worked with barding or with magic reflect for that matter.malice-tg wrote:ya need to "steal " the fame. its era accurate as people used to ninja the fame from other players and set in motion angry dungeon pvp.
