I am getting conflicting information about colored ingots.
On the T2A wiki it says that colored ingots only give you the color, while another website states that the different colored ingots provide resistances and luck which I notice on the status bar that there are different levels of resist vs FIRE COLD POISON etc and also a LUCK area.
Which is it?

During T2A it was only color. All that other business is UO:R and beyond.
