Stygian Abyss: Your thoughts?

UO has grown a lot, and currently it has grown into Stygian Abyss, the new expansion pack with reworked art and some graphics (improved KR engine). Of course new race, items etc.

What do you guys think about the game itself? Has it moved away from what UO originally was? Is it going in the wrong direction? Should EA kill production of UO expansions etc? Do you think there are ANY improvements over T2A?

UO had completely changed years ago.

What you accomplish in the game, how it is played, just about everything has been revamped into WoW mode. It's extremely lame. I and many others prefer to not discuss, let alone even think about it! The furthest I played was UO:R, so I never had to see any necromancers, ridable beatles or ninja bull crap.

EA has really squeezed UO dry for every cent it was worth, killing it off even more with every expansion.

It is the most addictive thing to come along since AIR!

Aye, it has moved far, FAR away from the original, both in story and player personality.

Wrong for the player, Right for the company's bottom line.

Should EA kill production of UO expansions etc?

Aye, fix the problems, not bury them with shiny new expansions.

Do you think there are ANY improvements over T2A?

IMHO, no.

I sure hope they have a dungeon made in the style of that game. It would be awesome.
Lose all your items, get thrown in an 8 level dungeon, yeah..

i liked it up tell the ninjas came then it turned to shit.

But also id like to note you can only kill the same shit for so long before you find another game.
