First, i never had a tracking Char on OSi (beyond 20 or 40 skill). So i have no idea if this problem is era accurate or not.
At 100 skill you cant use tracking anywhere in T2a except for the extreme edges of the map.
When looking for animals anywhere on the mainland of t2a you will almost always get a "the area is too crowded" reply.
Monsters/people work fine.
If one is looking for tamable mounts or creatures to gain taming (great harts, giant toads, frenzies, etc) the skill is more useful at 70 skill than at GM.
One problem could be I believe certain animals double dip (show up in both monsters and animals gumps). I think rats, giant toads, snakes and other do this.
So, is this something that can be addressed or am i better off just dropping 30 points of the skill.
Thoughts?
Thanks
