So there is no point of buying those magic bow at all? since we can't repair them, might be better off using the exceptional ones then?

everything has its value.
if your looking at it from a pvm pt of view. a silver bow is going to killing a whole lot undead than a exceptional one.

i wouldnt go that far... as others said it just makes that silver bow of vanq worth alot less than other weapons (not to mention Archery not being as powerful as the other classes)

Nothing new here... As far as i know on OSI you could never repair bows or Q-Staffs.

However, heavy crossbows should be repairable and I don't think they are here. I haven't dug up the documentation yet, but I know for a fact that they were repairable by C.U.B. as someone had a blessed heavy Xbow on LS and I remember repairing it a few times

Yes, heavy xbows were repairable by smithing.

I think they are here. Not sure

Digging up an old thread, but hxbows / studded were repairable back in the day if I recall correctly. Anyone found any documentation on this

You can repair heavy xbows here with smithing for sure (I do it all the time). Not sure about studded, I doubt it.

Isn't studded / leather supposed to be repairable with tailoring?

Don't recall ever being able to do that. Don't even think this is a feature on EA servers either.
