Buy Spells?

Hey there all, So as of right now I DONT need a full spell book, but I do need some of the lower spells (1-5or so) Where would I buy some of these specific spells (recall, teleport, wall of fire, mark, ect...) I dont think the NPC vendors have them for sale, or if they do I have not seen them, and I am not strong enough to go adventure on my own too far yet. So please lemme know if you can help me out! I'd just recommend buying the full book for 5k-5.5k. That way you'll never need to expand. If you're super new and can't afford one Ill hook you up with a full one from Theogard's place in Yew.

Spells 1 through 7 can usually be bought from npc mage vendors, 8th circle are usually only from higher lvl mob drops and sometimes tmap chests.

@Karik- I might take you up on that offer. I am indeed new and still raising money for other things, but once I get my T-Hunting up and running I will seek you out.

@Hicha- I must just be missing them then. I have only looked a few places. I think I need to go to the more remote towns and try shopping for them there? What do you think?

NPC vendors usually sell up to 3rd circle, I haven't many higher level scrolls on sale from them.

I sell full spellbooks and individual 8th circle scrolls.

Check more vendors, players generally sell all their scrolls to NPC vendors during town visits while they are hunting, but the vendors refresh their stock every 30 minutes and the scrolls will disappear from the list if noone is selling them. It's possible to get all spells circles 1-8 just by being at the right vendors at the right times. Also if you spend an hour or two killing liches or something, you will probably have most of a spellbook filled. Liches drop 3-7, you can buy 1-2 in the shop.

You can also get 8th circle scrolls killing blarons/ancient wrym/white wryms

I usually drop spare scrolls of all levels in this treasure chest for all to share...sometimes even a mostly full spell book. And the tmap library on the porch has a vendor selling level 1 tmaps for 500g...so you can get that going right now!

I think mage shop vendors only spawn a small selection of spells, but when players sell scrolls to them, you'd get a higher selection. Try at peak times and you might get the spell you want.

By the way DON'T buy from the Trisnic Moongate Vendor! I spent 4K on a "FULL SPELLBOOK" which was empty.

I'm an old school (97 - 99) player who recently came across this UO server. While I should know better, I didn't have any other choice but to buy from a vendor...man this world is freaking evil.

Don't spend more than 3-4k on one. There are lots of vendors around Yew that have them at these prices
