I am pretty sure I know the answer to this but figured one last try maybe some one has found a trick somewhere...
Is there ANY way to get razor to target by type and only target items in your backpack? and not in random chests and on the ground and what not?

The answer is "no".
I didn't find any way to solve that problem yet. When it comes to items in a chest, you can close your client and re-open it and not open the chest. Razor only learns about the items when you open a container.

So, for instance, all these poisoned weapons on vendor were actually MANUALY poisonned one after the other?
For a poisoning task, this is painfully long...

You could possibly build a restock agent/organizer agent. I know with my ID macro I use stealing in it. Sometime the macro will try to steal an item by type that has already been IDed and organized, but because it is more than 1 grid away it will give a message stating target it too far away.
If poisoning works the same way, you could have a chest of weapons, and an empty chest and move them one by one and in between poison them.
Other than that I am fresh out of ideas.
