In defense of this person, I would love to own the castle, that tower, and L shape. Seems nice.

I think that is a sweet tower considering the water and resource access and the fact there are only a few neighbors around makes this tower pretty prime. Also looks like the spawn is regular forest spawn and the fact the castle in front is close means that spawn is unlikely to hang out right in front of the door anyway.
