coming from the guy who can't pvp, yet he knows everything about the T2a era and the pvp mechanics..

You're only taking what I said personally because you're one of those people that uses degrading means to a standard veteran player of the actual era to accomplish a kill.

PS
When I beat Spanky 3 out of 4 times the last time I did 1v1's in a controlled environment he was ranked #2. I guess that means that I'm well above you in reality in the ranks, eh. If PVP was fixed I highly doubt you would be able to ever beat me even once in this same situation. Luck be with you until then.

Please stay on topic from now on Alatar this thread isn't about you, me, or anyone else for that matter.

I added an IRC channel so I can broadcast match-ups via the channel instead of spamming in-game.

Channel is #thunderdome, same network.

12 pm EST on a Sunday is sort of rough. I remember all the Sunday tournaments that ran regularily at this time were always the smallest. Possibly do it a few hours later? I would just think that more would participate, I believe Derrick has said in the past the the shard hits its biggest peaks Sunday evenings.

This is comming from the guy that has threatened to "terrorize" our tournament with his "alchemist", aka purple bomb boxes :D

Well he does have a point, its like 9 AM for some people. I think like mid-afternoon like 3PM EST or 2PM EST would be fine but it doesn't matter to me.

Couple of changes:

We're going to allow refresh potions and the finals will be the best 2 out of 3 matches.

Okay now I'll come for sure, good changes.

Have you thought about the time slot? No one else has commented on it either.

Also, you haven't stated your position on looting, head cutting etc.

I'd support head cutting, but no looting.

I assumed that was common sense but to be clear, I'll explain.

There will be no looting, looting anything off the corpse of a fallen competitor will result in a disqualification from the tournaments (yes, plural) and you'll most likely be killed on the spot for your treachery.

I don't think head looting is in good taste for a tournament like this, I'd keep that on the field. So no to cutting peoples heads off.

I'll be collecting entry fees at 11:30am EST tomorrow and the first round match will start as close to noon as possible.

Hope to see you all there!

Congratulations to Andy for winning the first Thunderdome tournament!

Due to the time of the tournament, I believe it might have been a little too early for most so for our next tournament, we'll start it during the evening and hopefully have a few more features by then. Thanks to the competitors for showing up so early!
