Unsure to play here, a bit of info needed

Hello there guys!
I thought I might give UO a shot after some seven years of no playing, but choosing the right server is quite a problem. I was recommended to pick one that runs on RunUO, bur that's it. It looks retro enough in here, but:
I started with UO shortly after Renaissance went out, so what I would like to know the most are the major differences betweeen 2nd Age and Ren. Can someone briefly summarize for me please?

I played from t2a and eventually into UO:R very many years ago. I started playing here about a month ago.

There arent a ton of differences from the 2, really. Order vs chaos here, no factions. I cant think of many big changes between the 2... a lot of it was minor changes anyways.

I'm sure someone will chime in with a "the big list" but I dont think you even need to see it. The staff here is great, the shard is solid, lots of players all the time, events... I REALLY like it here and I'm sure you'll like it too. It wont be long before you can feel right at home.

The major difference is that there is only one realm, Felucca. On Ren there were two, Trammel and Fel.

Here you can be pked anywhere out of guards, stolen from anywhere etc... there are no trammel rules to protect you.

By far the most quality staff and playerbase here than you will find on any other shard.

I don't know what these people are saying about little differences, etc.. If you are into PvP you'll notice it's completely different.

The most noticeable differences are you can heal through poison and instantly hit with your weapon as soon as it's equipped.

He fails to mention that each weapon has a timer, and if that timer has been completed you can throw your weapon on and instantly hit with it.

Additionally, there are no special moves, no lumberjacking, inscription or poisoning bonuses.

As well, there are in fact no weapons either. Most bands of PKs have at least four people that surround a player and wrestle them until they are out of bandaids. I still can't believe they managed to kill my horse too.
