id'ing items so everyone can see

So i spent a day or two macroing item id on a mule to see if I could globally id some items, but it appears that I fail.

Do you need armslore too or something I'm missing?

I see a lot of people have shit id'd in their houses.

Nowadays items are only identified to the person who identified them. This was not always the case, the items you are seeing were likely from before that patch went in. All the old identified items were grandfathered.
