spells on spellbook.

used to be able to cast a spell and target your spellbook and it would be just like casting the spell. could gain magery etc. why does this not work here?

Also I remember used to be able to dismount and remount to get out of paralyze.

I remember being able to cast a spell onto a crystal ball.

It was possible to cast spells on any item. It wouldn't do the animation of course, but it would act as if the spell was casted consuming mana and regs.

I 2nd that, this is 100% correct of T2A era about the being able to target anything when you cast not sure about the paralyze mount/dismount thing.
