I don't know if this works or not but it may be possible to refresh the robe with further bless deeds as time goes on. Since a bless deed restores the item to full durability, it may be the case that you could wear this for a while, then refresh for 500k or so every now and again when the AR starts dipping.

I have not tried this, nor do I know if it is possible, but someone with a bless deed and a blessed robe might be able to test it at server wars

Elk, that may be right. Also, if one wears a half apron and/or hat, would that prevent the robe?
