Connecting to IRC

There are some servers I can connect to and some that I cannot connect to. I can't connect to this server's IRC. I have 6660-6670 open for IRC and still can't connect. Ports are set for this IP as well. Any other ideas?

What does it say? Connection Timed Out?

I think you should try connecting via SSL. http://www.mirc.co.uk/ssl.html - Vist there to get instructions on how to install Open SSL

You can connect to our servers using SSL on port 7000. You need to type: /server -e Pirates.MI.US.WildIRC.Net:+7000
