Aside from getting all the worthless loot back (but not my runebook, darn), I was lucky that you showed up a minute too late. One minute sooner and you could have had over 150k. I filled my bank with gold and couldn't fit any more. It was sitting right there on the floor of the patio.

I had to drop it on a few vendors.

Hydro, you have to try this experiment Ive been wanting to try since the dawn of time. HAve a blue attack another blue in that house, call guards to get them summoned. Then, ban all the guards, do this a few times. Then try again and see if the guards can whack the guy in the house since they are technically "banned"

That's a good plan! I hate seeing the guards trotting around in the shop. It usually means I died.
