what is the up to date speed of the Katana on the shard?

I have searched the forums and find conflicting infos!

I assume it is 58 weapon speed but I saw threads from 2010 that say it got nerfed and is slower than Kryss now?

I am about to change from macing to either fencing or swords but need to know which weapon is currently the fastest on the shard!

I'm fairly certain its the kryss.

Why are you changing and not just building a new fencer? I thought mace fighting was an effective build because of the
damage/str loss?

It's the katana. Fencing is a gimp skill.
