Having Fun

Post by GreenMachine »

Hey guys,
I just joined this shard again.
Some of you might remember me, I played on here a while back. Kind of threw a fit, acted childish, yeah I was pretty dumb.
I think it was like 4 years ago or so....
Anyways, I've learned to not let video games anger me over the past 4 years, and my cousin (not the same one who rolled with me, he was pretty angry too, but his brother who is much more chilled).
So I'm making this post to apologize for my crappy behavior, and to say I'm having a blast on this shard.
I've been playing newbie style with my cousin. I strictly speak in RP, have an inefficient template, and often walk head first into danger knowing I have little chance of survival.

And it's been a blast! I punched a balron last night for the killing blow, my character was emboldened by cider taken from slain orcs.
I've found people really enjoy helping me have adventures for some reason, and often let me keep the loot as well. I've made far more gold by rping in a friendly, somewhat humorous manner, than I ever would have by simply grinding. I've had fun adventures at the Teth's and Ophids and the Balrons. My cousin got pked, and it was really fun to rp the sorrow I felt.

Anyways, I'm glad this shard is still around and just felt like posting. I look forward to getting fooled into a pk trap, hasn't happened yet, but I sense that it will eventually and will have a blast roleplaying my outrage and confusion that someone would do such an atrocious act upon a simple ranger.

See you out there!
