Yea that's a bit extreme to tell a player, in the wrong or right, what they must sell for, and to whom. But a corner stone for future rules on auctions is a good call.

One of the nerds reading this should create a UOeBay - couldn't be too tuff to codify and implement.

Also, you can't police 1 thread and not the other 100 that have went on in the past few months or you are singling out one person. The only way to go about this, is to start fresh, with a post, telling ALL players about the rules, what will be enforced, what they can and can't do and THEN enforce it. You can't go in the middle of a auction and set/change rules, especially when WE know what the endtime was...
Well...you CAN, but not without pissing alot of people off in the process.

Now that I've got a moment between answering questions in this thread and on IRC, this is the final statement on this auction:
Despite the fact that Stonewilled won the deed, and Sultan won the plants, given the fact that this auction was handled poorly, this auction is null and void.
Until the rules are crafted (which may take some time), keep in mind that unreasonable stipulations for auctions will be ignored if we are asked to investigate the auction, and buyers and sellers alike are suggested to leave all posts unedited in the future, and they should only make new posts to add new information. Players who use the forums for trades should be directed to this post until the new rules are in place.
