I don't mind super powerful Bardys like this one.
I had a +10 vanq of wounding with 54 charges and loved it, hit like a truck.
And honestly unless its elk eater, I've yet to meet another thief that's any decent in recent times.

It's not uncommon to stop at the bank or whatever and for whatever reason forget or just neglect to protect your stealable dueling weapon.
