flickering screen?

Long story short: Decided to play some UO after a very long time away, found Second Age, started playing.

I have an issue where when I am in game, my client window kind of.. flickers. Anyone know why? It's pretty annoying.

I'm running windows 7, connecting using razor, seems to happen regardless of 1 client or 3.

My friend and I had this issue when we first dipped our toes into the world of alternate era UO servers. I asked how we fixed it and he said to do thusly;

* Right click your desktop...
* Select 'Personalise'...
* Set the desktop theme to the basic option (the 'old school grey bar' one).

Apparently that cleared up all his problems, I thought we'd checked a box within Razor itself, but perhaps not.
