Team Battle Elimination Match?

This coming Sunday I would like to test a new type of PVP tournament/battle. It will be a team battle that works as followed...

1. Each team will have 4 people. For this test, teams will be automatically assigned based on turn-out. If this becomes a re-occurring event, players will be responsible for their own team creation.

2. Team A will fight Team B in a 1v1.

3. When someone dies, the next person on that team jumps into the battle right away.

4. The match ends when one team is completely eliminated.

5. After each team has gone once, Round 2 will begin with the teams that won Round 1 (there would be a full reset between rounds to allow for restocking and regeneration.)

6. The game goes until one team is left. All players on the winning team would receive a gold trophy.

Is there any interest in a type of PvP event like this?

Only suggestion I can make is to possibly randomize the teams of 4, I can imagine stacked teams would not only be boring for them, but for other teams too.
