Im having trouble with spell delay

Whenever i do explosion/eb combos i will get a 2 second pause after i cast my explosion before it lets me cast eb.

My keystrokes are push my explosion macro key, hit my last target macro (after my target is on last target), then i quickly hold down my eb key until it casts so it casts fast as possible after my last target is pushed down. For some reason it takes a good 2 seconds after i hit my last target for explosion until it casts the eb. Why is it doing this? are other people having the same problem?

From my experience, and it's getting rusty again, there's a "grace" period after you cast a spell.

I forget the technical language for it, but I believe it's a casting delay of about .25-.5 or some such portion in which you CANNOT cast a spell.

Therefore you'd actually be able to land the Exp/Ebolt combo with almost near perfect sync. if you cast explode, hold it then release after the grace period and proceed with ebolting.

I've noticed this change too and it seems like it isn't correct, though I could very well be wrong.

Faustus is correct though. If you wait a moment to target your exp then you will be able to cast your ebolt immediately.

Just hold your spells for 2.2 seconds (i think) and you should be able to instantly cast after.

this is known as fastcast

cast a spell hold it so you take up the recast delay then hit last target and your next key.

The delay on the live server is incorrect mungrin.

The correct delay is active on the test center at this very moment and should be live any time now.
