Locked chest spawns/loot

I ran a search and did not find what I was looking for. Can anyone give me a list of what loot you get from each level of chest? thinking about picking up lock picking on my provo to help with farming. would it be worth the troubles?

I think the highest level dungeon chest only gives about 600-700 gold each, and they are few and far between.

The lower level chest items are mainly garbage. There are a lot of jewelry in them. Sometiems you get a silver/silver ruin weapon or an id wand.

Like any other chest or item spawn you can get ANY magic item type, lower chests just have less magic items.

You could get 5 ruins from a level 4 chest (which are usually 3-5 items 300-400 gold 3-4 reagent stacks and gems+scrolls) and do one level 1 crate and pull out a vanquishing hally. It's all chance.

Jewelry takes up a "magic item" slot just like a sword or a platemail suit would.

Maybe they were recently changed? I haven't bothered to unlock a chest in months.
The best weapon I've ever pulled out of the chests was a might..

Well I am sitting around 75 lock picking now.... starting to sloooooooow down. took me around 300 picks to get there. I have around 500 more so I think I will have plenty.... once I get to where I can pick lvl 4 and 5 chests I will start posting my findings and maybe a loot table to it if possible. seems like everybody has drifted away from doing dungeon chests... not saying it will be your main source of income but if your farming ballys it makes sense to take the chests while they are there too!

People shouldn't be doing dungeon chests unless they are trying to get the 95-100 lockpicking.

If you've gmed, like me, Level 5s are waaaay more lucrative and safe.
