Perhaps the spawn in Despise was changed after T2A, but I seem to remember it being full of Lizardmen on the top floor, Ettins and a few Earth Elementals on the middle floor, and Trolls, Ogres, a Cyclops, and a few Ogre Lords on the bottom. As it is now, Despise is pretty much worthless to hunt in. Just bringing it up.. I could be wrong.

Despise was pretty worthless in Era, the Ogre Lords were added in UO:R I belive, replacing the Mages. I had also noticed this in Despise. I'm glad you had the courage to ask because I sure didn't.
And I'm glad Derrick had the time to clear that up!
Anyways, forget Despise, the woods have better skill/money gain opportunities for new characters.
