PvP Hotspots?

Post by kimura »

So, I've been on UOSA now for almost 6 months. I have developed an assortment of characters and my friends and I have been looking for some pvp fights. Where are all the o/c hiding, i see so many people when time comes around for events, but prior up to the gates opening and even after, I don't see any of the people i saw in the events.

Where are the pvp hot spots at?
-I've camped LL room, Bloods, Cove Lichs (barely any action)
-Destard sucks because of all the dragons everywhere (and i dont find much there either)
-BGY is always deserted
-Bucs is pretty much deserted as well too.

My game times vary from GMT to GMT+8.

Back on my old UO Live server, Jhelom farms, wrong entrance could almost always fight people fighting and dueling.

I'm also pro-advocate for making towns have spell full damage :D [And yes i do play a dexer]

I really expected to see at least one red, let alone another actual player, as I ran from yew to britain and all around the skara area last night yet I didn't see one player.

I'm hoping next week when I have a playable character that there's players some where out there besides in town..

so you ran through wide open spaces where people have no reason to be and this is a valid way to see the playerbase?

I ran through area's there are usually at least one person including the orc fort and all the housing to the west of Britain. Do I expect there always to be people there or a party going on? No. But I'm hoping the server population isn't restricted to these 'events' and characters macroing.

You're chasing after red people or after blues?Because there's always someone in destard farming .. Blood and lich Lord are usually camped. Each time i farm in t2a(titan it's take rougly 5 minutes before a murderer show up) Ophidians they show rarely but happens.I don't know. Each time i try to avoid to be pk'ed there's a red showing up.They're like frigging Magnet.

I don't know what to say. It's not like everyone macro inside their house/town.If you want to be a red and you have problem finding victim..Well .. I don't know haha. It's was during prime time or off -hours?Prime time imo it's 22 hours-Midnight.

No im just a random blue developing character new to the server. Just wanted to scope out the countryside and expected to die at least once or see some other blue.

Honestly I just want to make there's actual people here on the server to make it worth my time. It seems pretty kickass and I refuse to play on a server that has trammel or allows you to pay for skills with real money. Therefore this seems the best bet but I want to make sure there's people out there when I get one of my characters out of town.

Well it's all about timezones mate if you're running round at certain hours you'll see absolutely no one just due to everyone being asleep.

I live on the east coast; Connecticut. The server is in Virginia and I'm pretty sure most everybody is from the US.

If you hang around britn gy long enough pks show up. They always pray on the weakest. Also if you stay there some newbs will see comfort in this place not being deserted and will hunt there and pks will show up, its like a wheel that spins it self
