NPC and skills
Re: NPC and skills
First, please, use better grammer.
Second if a vendor is not talking to you it is likely your karma is very low on the border of red. Have you been murdering players? or npc's?
Your magery should go up with some good old fashioned magery macroing. Check the wiki posted on any page.
This is a 'Second Age' server which is before the 'Age of Shadows' release and therefore does not include a Paladin.

The whole approach on your part is rather ironic. Refuse to do the work in finding the information yourself but rebute anything that is presented to you.

a. the command is "vendor train" or "<vendor name> Train
the vendor should then tell you a list of commands it trains ie: Magery, magic resistance, tactics, meditation
you follow by saying <vendor name> train magery
the vendor will then tell you that to train such a skill will cost you <gold> (its usually around 335)
you then need to DROP the gold onto the vendor and your skill will increase.
NOW becareful your skill WONT increase if that skill is locked or turned down OR if you are already at you 700 skill cap maximum
Lastly, all the AOS character templates and skills are disabled here on Secondage
Cheers and happy playing!

Re: NPC and skills
Should also note that the 3 skills the vendor lists when you proclaim "Name Teach" nearby are not the only skills they teach. For instance, a healer may say "I can teach thee of anatomy, healing, and macefighting", but you can also say "Name Teach Wrestling" and he can teach you wrestling. I think the 3 skills that they list are the 3 highest skills they have when they spawn. The guildmasters of a given profession also teach each skill to a slightly higher level than the regular npcs.

Re: NPC and skills
Actualli, if you have the journal open, you'll see all the skills they can teach you. The three skills shown above the NPCs name is just cuz there can't be more text above them.MatronDeWinter wrote:Should also note that the 3 skills the vendor lists when you proclaim "Name Teach" nearby are not the only skills they teach.
